Mt. Kanchenjunga is the world’s third highest mountain at the elevation of 8,586 meters from sea level in northeast part of Nepal and considered as the sacred peak. Trekking in Kanchenjunga Base Camp highlights two major attractions, one is Arun valley (most beautiful region of Nepal) and other is Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, allowing trekkers to explore the pure form of beauties and many explorative deeds in beautiful diverse area during this trek. You can have the actual taste of trekking in remoteness, watchable mountain views, diverse flora and fauna and enriched local cultures and the path passing through variations in landscape from Alpine grasslands to Sub-tropical forests, rocky slopes and low river valleys. The mesmerizing views of mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and many more high peaks and heavenly natural sceneries all over never disappoints you during this whole trek. Kanchenjunga peak has two base camps, North and South base camp on the right border of Sikkim and in the north border with Tibet. You should cross Margin La Pass (4,725 meters) during this trip, from where you can capture magnificent views of Makalu, Mt. Everest and Chamlang and the glacier rewarding you with close-up views of Kanchenjunga. Taplejung is the starting point of this trek, where you can reach by a flight leading to Bhadrapur from Kathmandu  valley and further a drive to Taplejung. Trek from Taplejung passes the way through Ghunsa via Sakethun and Kyapra, Lhonak, Pangpema, Sele Le Base Camp, Ramze via Sele Le and Sinion Pass and finally to Kanchenjunga Base Camp. From base camp, continue trekking to Thapru
via Khebank and take a drive to Bhadrapur from Thapru village. From Bhadrapur, a comfortable flight will take you back to Kathmandu valley.
